3D Printed Intervertebral Disc

Cervical

Our 3D-Printed Artificial Cervical Disc is designed for patients requiring anterior cervical discectomy but wishing to maintain natural neck mobility. This "Motion Preservation" device replaces the damaged intervertebral disc, mimicking the spine's natural biomechanics while providing the strength and durability of additive-manufactured titanium.

Key Clinical Features

  • Dynamic Motion Preservation: Engineered to restore natural range of motion (flexion, extension, lateral bending, and rotation), reducing the risk of Adjacent Segment Disease (ASD) often seen in fusion cases.
  • Biomimetic 3D-Printed Surface: The endplates feature a specialized porous titanium scaffold that promotes rapid biological fixation to the vertebral endplates without the need for bone cement.
  • Anatomical Low-Profile Design: Optimized for the cervical spine, the slim profile ensures minimal interference with surrounding soft tissue and preserves the natural lordotic curve.
  • Integrated Secure Fixation: Features specialized fins/keels (as shown in the image) for immediate primary stability, ensuring the device remains securely anchored from the moment of implantation.
  • Wear-Resistant Articulation: Built with high-performance materials designed to withstand millions of cycles, ensuring long-term functional reliability for younger, active patients.
